Eligibility Rules

▪️ Date of Birth will be strictly enforced – NO EXCEPTIONS
▪️ Minimum of 4 teams required in each divisions
▪️ The A & B Divisions may be combined
▪️ The Players are NOT allowed to play for both A & B divisions in the same age group

How the games are played

GAME FORMAT

5 on 5 play - (players plus a goalie)
Teams need to be ready before their scheduled time
3 minutes of Warm-Up
3 periods of 13 minutes (1 minute between periods) U8 , U10 and U12
3 periods of 15 minutes (1 minute between periods) U14
Each team is allowed one – 30 second time-out in all games
Games are running time. There will be stop time if the score is within 2 goals or tied in the final 2 minutes of the 3rd period.
Round robin games – If game is tied, a shootout will determine the winner.
During playoffs and Final , if the score is tied after regulation time, a 5 minutes sudden death overtime will be played 3 on 3.
If neither team no scores in the overtime, 3 players Game Winning Shots will be applied. if still tied after 3rd shooter, teams will alternate shots until a winner is decided.
Teams are advised to have matching socks and a dark and light set of jerseys. If case of a colour clash, organizers will determine which team will change.
Team Standings will be based on – Most Points , Most Wins , Head to Head (based on 2 teams only) Fewest Goals Against, Fewest Penalty Minutes, Greater Goal Difference, follow by a puck toss.
